Special Features: Unbelievable green silk brocade breeches from the late 18th century we purchased in Paris. These breeches are truly one-of-a-kind with covered buttons, a stylish waistband, and an inset welt pocket. The front flap is secured with metal buttons and there is fullness throughout the seat and legs. The knees taper down with button closures, and there are linen suspender straps and remnants of silk brocade attached.
Condition: The breeches are in really remarkable condition. There is one metal button missing on the flap. Some wear on several of the buttons. The suspender straps are badly damage. No apparent splitting in the silk. There are also stains on the lining.
